Hotel Bodoni - Florence

The staff were lovely and accommodating.

The bathroom lacked hooks and storage space. The shower setup felt haphazard, which did not provide a relaxing experience. The room was somewhat cold at night, and I wished for better climate control options.

Delicious breakfast with 100 % natural orange juice and with excellent co-operating staff.

The location is ok, very convenient for visiting the main sights. The breakfast is great.

Extremely difficult to reach the place by car even with the help of navigator. The hotel itself is on the fourth floor. The lift is extremely slow. The conditioning works as a fan which I found typical for cheap Italian hotels. The extra bed was not ready and we were said that it was our fault. They didn't confirm it. (But they didn't inform us about it.) We had a serious problem with parking. We were not informed that it would be in the garage which was difficult to find in the darkness. But when it was found they asked us to leave the car key. We were not ready for it: we had a lot of things in the car. But most of all I disliked the conversation with the garage man who was offended by the fact that we didn't want to leave the key. He was constantly speaking about the 'respect' towards him.

I appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff, who were consistently friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection included delicious pastries and fresh fruits, which I enjoyed each morning before starting my day exploring Florence. The view from the rooftop terrace was lovely.

Location: very close to Santa Croce. Good breakfast, selection of pastry as well as meats/cheeses. Most friendly & helpful staff. Free wireless internet. Very clean.

It was noisy but in the middle of the Florence I think it's not sth you can avoid. Noise comes outside of the hotel.

The rooftop terrace provides a fine view over the city. The layout allowed for easy access to nearby attractions, great for convenient sightseeing, especially the short stroll to the nearby Piazza del Duomo.

Reception is located on the 4th floor while my room was on the 1st floor, requiring unnecessary trips back for the room key-something I found perplexing. The bathroom layout, with a wet room setup and having the toilet behind a curtain, felt odd and somewhat cramped, impacting comfort during use. Noise from the street and hallways disrupted sleep, especially since balcony doors didn't seal properly, letting in more hustle and bustle than one might want.

Hotel Bodoni was fantastic! The staff were exceptional, especially the young man at reception who we assume is the son of the owners, he was so helpful and just a lovely person. The location is also great, just a short walk to everything. There's a lovely view from the roof, where you can sit and relax as well. Overall we were extremely happy with everything about this hotel, and will most certainly be back :)

The staff were lovely and accommodating throughout my stay! The Wi-Fi worked well, a huge relief to stay connected. My room had a nice view.

The air conditioning was a major issue that hindered a good night's sleep. It just didn't work properly.

Very nice hotel! Basic and clean room, excellent breakfast, close to the city center (both duomo and Santa Croce) and to a supermarket. There's a balcony with a beautiful view on Florence and the staff is supernice and helpful and fluent in English, French and Spanish. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The bathroom is a bit strange because you have to shower above the toilet and bidet. The lift is also a tad old but these minor inconveniences did not make the stay less agreable at all.

Not very friendly staff!

Great find: very central, simple but clean. Friendly, helpful and multi- lingual staff. Very good value for money! I am definitely coming back to this beautiful city! Thank you!
